With a grandfather and several uncles that owned their own construction companies, Jason grew up in a remodeling family. Throughout high school and college, he gained valuable hands-on experiences in the industry.

After college, he took a break from construction to pursue a fascination with aviation. He spent the next 13 years flying private and commercial airplanes. After September 11, he decided to retire as a pilot from Northwest Airlines and return to his first love of construction, remodeling and helping people.

Bjorn Freudenthal grew up in Helsinki, Finland and brings a global perspective to his work. He got his start in the building industry as a laborer while in college in the early 1990s digging out crawlspaces by hand. Construction became his calling and he has made his career in the U.S. remodeling industry since 1999. He holds a CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) certification from the National Association of Home Builders. Before joining Ispiri, Bjorn helped a remodeling company become the Remodeler of the Year 2008, and two companies achieve TOP 500 status. Bjorn has also been part of Twin Cities remodeling projects that have many design awards, and has helped clients design and build tear down homes in Edina and Minneapolis. Bjorn is passionate about his work and gives back to the industry through volunteer leadership positions with NARI on both on a local and national level.

Gregg brings over 25 years of construction and design experience to every project.  He is a licensed architect with a degree in Architecture from the University of Minnesota; you can have confidence in his ability to serve you well in every detail.  He enjoys designing  "Artfully Crafted Home and Remodeling Projects" that are beautifully done with your own special tastes in mind and streamlined for the way you live your life with breathing room to spare.

Laurie is passionate for all aspects of kitchen design. She uses her 24 years of kitchen, bath and home remodeling experience to design the ideal space for every Ispíri client. As a Certified Kitchen Designer, with an extensive knowledge in cabinetry, space planning and project management, Laurie instinctively knows how to facilitate stylish spaces that her clients love to both live and work in. Laurie specializes in designing functional kitchens that are original, inventive and compliment the lifestyle of the homeowner.

Lisa has been fascinated with design since she was child and spent many hours rearranging the furniture in her bedroom. Her continuing love for design led her to the University of Minnesota where she obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design. Lisa has had the privilege of experiencing many avenues of interior design. She has worked with two very successful interior design firms in the Twin Cities. She also gained valuable experience working with a design build remodel firm where her appreciation and love for remodeling grew. Later, Lisa decided to begin her own successful interior design business after taking on projects for friends and neighbors which lead to many referrals.

Becca’s fascination with interior design developed at an early age. With a strong appreciation for art and eye for color she was drawn towards the design field. Becca has worked in the design industry for over 7 years, and holds a degree in interior design. She brings valuable experience working with builders and architects on both new construction and remodeling renovations. Sara brings more than 8 years of experience to Ispiri, specializing in creative and timeless design for projects large and small throughout the home. Sara has a degree in Interior Design from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco, and is able to combine her education and design experience to allow her to not only focus on each project's design and layout, but on the entirety of the project including materials, colors, surfaces, and other project components as well.

Jamie spent his first years out of school working hand in hand with local residential, commercial and retail architects. His next move was into the residential home building industry, where he worked with a national builder and several local home builders as a design and project manager.

These experiences led him to Ispiri and the role of Design Consultant, in which he currently excels. His construction background, coupled with a strong sense of functional and practical design, make this the perfect fit for him.

 

     
         

Rich Troxel, Project Manager, Certified Remodeling Project Manager (CRPM)

Rich started in the remodeling industry working for a local family owned remodeling company. That is where he learned the ropes of the industry and learned that having a relationship with your client is crucial in order to be successful. 12 years later Rich then had the opportunity to work for a National Home Builder for 10 years, there he started as an Assistant Construction Manager and made his way to the top and became a Project Manager. Rich believes that it is all the little details and craftsmanship in a home that creates the big project. Rich is a problem solver and keeps projects on time and on schedule.

All of this experience has landed Rich at Ispiri as a Project Manager.

 

Mark Larsen, Project Manager

Mark brings years of remodel and new home construction experience to the project, a unique set of talents, training, and life experiences that make him especially well suited to manage and oversee projects from start to completion. He is an analytical troubleshooter and problem solver with a reputation for identifying and circumventing project challenges, while delivering a quality of performance that transcends the ordinary.

Growing up on a farm in North Dakota Gary learned the meaning of a solid work ethic. At age 19, he started a business within his local community providing construction services from light commercial to residential home remodeling.

While operating his business, he completed an associate's degree in Architectural Drafting and Estimating as well as his bachelor's degree in Construction Management & Engineering.

In 2003 Gary sold his business and moved to the Twin Cities where he continued in the industry as a project manager coordinating remodeling projects. In his spare time, his passion for learning drove him to achieve his graduate's degree in business to better his ability to work with people.

Joe grew up on a farm in the local Minnesota community of Sauk Centre. Working with his hands on the farm instilled in Joe the pride that comes with being able to fix things. He began his career in cabinetry at Walz Design Woodworks in Belgrade, MN. Joe brings 10 years of that carpentry craftsmanship and nearly 20 years of experience in construction. Joe takes care in jobs of every size and shape that he services to make sure everything is done right the first time.
